advice on b12 travel kit

I’m wondering if anyone has advice on how to organize B12 supplies. I’m interested in a zipper case to keep a couple needles, a few bandages/plasters, alcohol wipes, a couple b12 vials and a small hand sanitizer. I’d like to keep my larger stock of extra wipes/needles/b12 vials in a cupboard and then have a kit I replenish and can take when I travel. If anyone has suggestions on specific cases or pouches that they like, I would appreciate it.

That’s a good idea Purplegirl12

I’ve just looked on Amazon,u.k. and I see they have a good selection of first aid zipper bags from about £5.00 in various colours and sizes . I’m going to get one myself now !

You really wanted a recommendation though , so I’ve not really helped you .

Hi Purolegirl12, I actually just purchased a diabetes travel kit thing myself! It stores needles roughly the same size as the ones I use to inject.

I'm going on trip far enough from home that I wouldn't be able to come back to inject, so I got the kit for a couple ampoules, needles/syringes and alcohol wipes. It came with a couple small gel packs you can put in the fridge or freezer to regulate the temp of the pouch - it's insulated, discrete, relatively small and was less than $20 online

I use a soft pencil case. It carries all I need and protects everything. 😊

I have recently been to cypress and I made myself a makeup bag size zipper bag that has a cotton wadding lining, it acts as an insulator against cold and heat, can get everything in it I need and just looks like a makeup bag. I wrap the ampoules in a small bit of bubble wrap just as an extra precaution

Hi Purplegirl

I keep mine in a hard cover glasses case - looks like a glasses case but protects the B12 from damage and light. I can keep enough for 3-4 injections in there including my phial snapper.

Best of luck and enjoy your travels!
