I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I can't seem to even see the item you're talking about let alone order it. Is it because I ask my browser to see the site in English instead of German?

wedgewood profile image
wedgewood in reply toSilverfox2

I can’t understand that . If you click on the blue link to apohealth.de you should be taken to that pharmacy site and then opt for it in English ( bottom left ).

bodfeld-apotheke.de

is only in German .You will need to use Google Chrome for a translation or use a translation app

Good to know. Thank you! Also I noticed the addition of "acetat" at the end. Is that of any significance?

Thanks so much 🙏🏻

I have asked this before but it bears repeating. I am in the US so shipping is 2-3 weeks. This extended hot weather (likely into October) is probably not a good time to ship? I hope availability comes up in the fall. I hesitate to ship in really cold weather too. It’s quite a narrow shipping window when one considers temperature changes here.

Thanks for the heads up though. It’s good to know it’s still being sold. (When something works for me o try to stick with it.) I am good until Nov.

wedgewood profile image
wedgewood in reply toEiCa

The ampoules( Hydroxocobalamin) are best kept at 25C or lower , but they should’nt freeze , So you have to study the weather I guess .

EiCa profile image
EiCa in reply towedgewood

Thanks. Maybe I have a longer window during winter/spring than I thought.

Terrific! Thanks so much Wedgewood for being so hawkeyed for us. I've ordered from Bodfeld, enough for a few months of weekly.

Good -you were quick enough . Apohealth is sold out already !

Pickle500 in reply toPickle500

Hi Wedgewood,

I'm not sure if you would know but it seems I've been refunded from Bodfeld. And told to reenter my address as 'it's not correct', but when I go back in I can't select GB or UK from the drop down list of options.

Have we been locked out now? Brexit or maybe some other higher powers stopped us importing?

I hope not 😱

wedgewood profile image
wedgewood in reply toPickle500

I’m afraid that the U.K. is no longer on the drop-down address list of countries which Bodfeld will deliver to . Not even listed under “Vereinigtes Königreich Großbritanien und Nordirland “ which some German online pharmacies use for the U.K. Yes another pharmacy that had taken us off the list . But how did you manage to order something that they are now refunding you for ?

I have found another German online pharmacy that will deliver to U.K. (and also Australia and New Zealand ) They have Panpharma b12 depot in stock ( well they did this morning !) They use “ Vereinigtes Königreich “ etc to identify the U.K. . on the drop-down address list .

apotheke-marienbrunn.de

Best wishes .

Pickle500 profile image
Pickle500 in reply towedgewood

Thank you for confirming. I think there was a glitch in the form of my details appearing 'pre-loaded' on the order form (as a prior customer) but the country defaulting to 'Germany' in the drop down. They still accepted payment for the order on this basis.

Then, they must've recognised it as 'London' and refunded me within days. So that's fairly clear to me that the UK is a no-go for Bodfeld now.

Wow - so good you found another supplier! I thought there was only a couple of outlets. I will give them a try and let you know. Thanks again

jade_s in reply toPickle500

Looking through my list, I see that people reported Bodfeld no longer let UK people register back last November, although those already registered could order. Appears they've now disallowed that as well. Too bad.

If you are able to successfully get a shipment to the UK from MarienBrunn, could you please let me know and I will update the list? Thanks and good luck!

Also do periodically keep checking the other ones, I've found several other pharmacies with panpharma in stock (though those aren't shipping to the UK).

Pickle500 profile image
Pickle500 in reply tojade_s

Thanks. They do have high shipping costs (25 Euros) and 3 boxes of Panpharma will cost a total of 57 Euros to ship...

Will have to have a look at budgets I think before I go ahead!

jade_s profile image
jade_s in reply toPickle500

Ouch, that is pricey!

wedgewood profile image
wedgewood in reply toPickle500

That is a very hefty price for shipping . From that I assume they are a very small pharmacy that cannot get a good deal from the couriers because they don’t have a big turnover . I think that one would need to be really desperate to buy at that price !

wedgewood profile image
wedgewood in reply tojade_s

So were the Panpharma ampoules you found on German online pharmacies B12 (Cynocobalamin) , B12 depot (Hydroxocobalamin) or both ? I ask because I thought it was only the B12 depot that is in short supply , not the B12 . I’m curious . The NHS in U.K. now only uses b12 depot ( Hydroxo cobalamin ) so members on this forum want to use the same B12 as the NHS .

The biggest German online pharmacy is docmorris.de They have B12 but no B12depot

Pickle500 profile image
Pickle500 in reply towedgewood

From this vendor you've suggested you can get the DEPOT Panpharma.

They have Cyanocobalamin listed as 'Lichtenstein ampoules'

wedgewood profile image
wedgewood in reply toPickle500

Docmorris only ship to Germany . They have Panpharma B12 but are out of stock of Panpharma B12 depot. I was interested to find out if the Panpharma B12 depot was in very short supply even for Germany’s largest online pharmacy . They are also out of stock.

jade_s profile image
jade_s in reply towedgewood

Sorry I meant B12 depot (Hydroxocobalamin) . i.e. PZN 16199653

For example unserekleineapotheke - they ship to the US and within the EU - I haven't been able to order from there in months. unserekleineapotheke.de/pro...

mycare has it in stock now too! Also first time in many months. mycare.de/online-kaufen/vit...

Many of the local ones seem to have it , but they don't even ship within the EU - only germany. I googled "PZN 16199653 ".

Do we dare hope?

wedgewood profile image
wedgewood in reply tojade_s

I see —Thank you jade_s . It is a constant worry . It never used to be like this when Panpharma was called Rotexmedica, But they sold out to the French company Panpharma . I dont know if that is the problem or as Panpharma wrote to me , that there was a general shortage of B12 basic raw materials , of which about 90 % is made in China . - So we are at their mercy ! A frightening thought .

jade_s profile image
jade_s in reply towedgewood

Indeed very frightening! In the nearly 7 years I've been using rotexmedica/panpharma, I never had any issues.

It's interesting though. My sister in the US hasn't been able to get any Actavis Hydroxo B12 (on prescription) for several months, and they've now given an availability date of July. Luckily she had some German B12 stocked up so she's ok for now, but it was getting kind of scary. I do wonder if they've had the same raw material shortage issue. I do know there was a bad shortage of Actavis back in 2014, but I don't know if europe had the same problem.

Recently, the US government has been having hearings on how to deal with medication shortages. It seems to be quite extensive, with many medications affected, and a lot of it is due to the dependency on china and their covid lockdowns. I have no problem with china, but for many reasons it make sense not to consolidate such important things in just 1 country.

Oh damn! Not got my order after all...just got this email......

"Good day,

We regret to inform you that due to a technical error we cannot ship the ordered goods. You have just been refunded. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes you.

Best regards from Munich"

Now what? :(

jade_s profile image
jade_s in reply toSilverfox2

Oh no so sorry to hear that. Where did you try ordering from? :(

Edited to add: if from apohealth, maybe their web interface couldn't keep up with their stock and they were already sold out. They could have mentioned it to you 😐

Yeah, It was from then. Don't know what to do now. Bloody Brexit!

jade_s profile image
jade_s in reply toSilverfox2

I'm sorry :(But some good news, i received my package from marienbrunn and the expiration dates are 3/26 😱 It should just be a matter of time before versandapo and the rest have stock, i hope!

Silverfox2 profile image
Silverfox2 in reply tojade_s

I've just managed to register with them, so are they the ones that accept a bank transfer payment?

jade_s profile image
jade_s in reply toSilverfox2

I am not sure about marienbrunn. I think it is bodfeld that require a bank transfer. I paid with paypal but I am in the EU.

Silverfox2 profile image

Ah that explains a lot. If you're in the EU you're fine. Outside you're stuffed. :(

Most members on this forum are using Pascoe B12 depot in place of the Panpharma . It is twice as expensive as Panpharma if you buy packets of 10’. If you buy the 100 ampoules pack , they are 1/2 the price per pack. ( but there is a risk that there is a short use by date )

I’ve heard from some people . who have taken to using the Panpharma B12 ( Cynocobalamin) and find it satisfactory .

Silverfox2 profile image
Silverfox2 in reply towedgewood

Thanks for that. Sadly I'm after the hyrox as It doesn't burn my bladder as much.

I have Hevert vit B12 Depot hydroxocobalaminacetat 1000ug.Im really anxious about how to inject this larger amount by IM.

I can't find the earlier posts about this but I remember that we shouldn't inject any amount over the ampoule size (1000ug/ml) of my usual Panpharma brand.

Advice will be appreciated.

wedgewood profile image
wedgewood in reply to3rdNettydoon

I have used Hevert 1mg x 2ml B12 depot ampoules before I discovered the now unobtainable Panpharma B12 depot . Absolutely no problem at all to inject with I.M. method . I have read somewhere that 2ml injection is the absolute maximum liquid to be injected sub-cutaneously. But there is no ptoblem for an I.M. injection with 2ml

I use a 2 ml syringe which is 2.5 ml , so that you can get every last drop of B12 out of the 2ml ampoule . I use the nevershare Luer Lock syringes Twist lock which really do hang on to the needles ( from exchangesupplies.org product code S242)

wedgewood profile image
wedgewood in reply to3rdNettydoon

Those 2ml syringes are usually obtainable at medisave.co.U.K. A pound of so cheaper , But they are out of stock at the moment .

Pickle500 profile image
Pickle500 in reply to3rdNettydoon

2ml should only be injected into the thighs. And you should avoid daily injection as it may be too much.

Hi wedgewood, all, Marienbrunn also has stock now! I can't remember if they still ship b12 to the UK nowadays. It's listed in the registration form but I vaguely remember there were issues, but i could be misremembering. Can anyone confirm so I can update the list?

10 euro per pack. Panpharma depot:

apotheke-marienbrunn.de/vit...

I ordered some & am curious about the expiration dates. Would be fantastic if stock has resumed!

wedgewood in reply tojade_s

They do ship to U.K. but on the drop-down address list the U.K. is

“Vereinigtes Königreich Großbritanien und Nordirland”

jade_s profile image
jade_s

I found another pharmacy that appears to deliver to the UK + has panpharma depot (hydroxy) in stock for 9.14 euro box of 10. They use DHL so shipping should cost only 9 euro if less than 2 kg. UK listed under “Vereinigtes Königreich Großbritanien und Nordirland “

viva-apotheke.de/vitamin-b1...

If anyone successfully orders from them please let us know so we can add it to the list. :)

Apohealth, apotal, juvalis, and versandapo still out of stock. :/

This handy site shows all the places it's available in Germany, though many do not deliver outside of Germany or the EU. medipreis.de/preisvergleich... At one point there were no pharmacies on that list. Last week there were less than 10, now it's more than 20, so that's promising at least. Their list does seem to be delayed by a few days.
