I have read that Omerprazole interacts with B12 injections and can interfere with the B12 Absorption

Does anyone know if it would be true then that Lanzoprazole 15mg can also interfere with absorption too?

I took Lansoprazole 30 mins after injection.

Lanzoprazole and other PPIs interfere with absorption of B12 from the intestines. They will have no effect on B12 injections because they bypass the intestines.

I've been on B12 injections every month for more than 45 years and on Lansoprazole 15mg every day for longer than I can remember and I'm still "clivealive".

Hi Clivealive, can you please tell me what is the best time during the day to have the B12 injection. My daughter is two years old. And she has to get the B12 injection daily during her life. Thanks in advance.

Personally shadi77 I always have my injections at nine o'clock in the morning but I don't think there is any hard and fast rule about it.

Wow! I feel for your daughter and my heart goes out to her.

I wish you both well
