For me it started in loading doses .I called it the b12 buzz

I had tinnitus before receiving the b12 injections but after the loading dose not only was it worse it drove me to distraction. Perhaps it's part of the healing process but saying that we are all different.

I could do with an off button on the to of my head. 👂😱

I think we vary in our responses to B12 injections.

It took many weeks but B12 injections definitely improved my tinnitus over time.

My long term tinnitus was quite debilitating prior to beginning my weekly B12 injections. After about 6 months of treatment my tinnitus is now no longer a problem.

40% get increased symptoms initially in the healing process, its gets better after some weeks if you inject often enough with a proper b12 ampull. I inject 2-3 times / week with hydroxocobalaminacetat (Panpharma b12 depot - soon Pascoe 1500).

As Sleepybunny has said (above) - I have also noticed over many years that we are all different in our response and in our needs. So what worked for you may not have the same effect on others here.

Sometimes when starting B12 injections the iron reserves in the body drop suddenly. I'm mentioning this because iron deficiency can also cause tinnitus.

I found that tinnitus developed during the time I became seriously B12D. Now I inject every other day and tinnitus fluctuates depending on my physical and emotional stress levels.
