My hemoglobin and white blood cell count were a bit high.

My question is has anyone through treatment by a physician or by self treatment of B12D brought their hemoglobin and white blood cell count within range?

The reason I want to know is I am preparing to see my GP and want something other than symptoms to measure my improvement.

Scientist, not medic.

You don't tell us quite how low things were, or how you've responded but that's largely irrelevant; if you were B12 deficient to the extent where you were becoming anaemic, and you were able to self-administer B12, then you would be expected to recover, because 'that's how it works'. White cell counts are a bit more complex, and it's hard to say without rather more data.

Good luck with the GP!

Thanks for the reply! My RBC was 4.91 X 10(6) mcL When admitted to the hospital. With Self Treatment it jumped up to 6.02 X 10(6) mcL.

I am in a position of power now with the GP as I have successfully self treated when the medics failed. I just want to order a test that shows I have improved over the last 6 months.

In the states at the facility where I have been 'treated' we have all our tests available on a portal including graphs of past results. Unfortunately I was experiencing severe brain fog and was not able to make sense of it. I went with symptoms.

Following the symptoms and not the numbers is radical. It's how the oldies used to do it, as we didn't have many of the numbers they do now, but somehow, we seemed to survive. Carry on.

To be clear I do watch the toxicity and do use testing for folic acid etc.
