Has anyone had experience of B12 nasal spray, is it any good (Question mark not working).
B12 nasal spray : Has anyone had... - Pernicious Anaemi...
B12 nasal spray
Yes , I tried B12 Nasal spray when I was simply desperate because a three monthly B12 injection was insufficient to treat my Pernicious Anaemia Symptoms ( diagnosed with intrinsic a factor antibodies)
They did not work for me . I also tried sub-lingual lozenges and mouth sprays ,. also patches. To no avail . But I read on this forum that some members have success with sprays . All P.A. patients are different (/though doctors do not treat us differently unfortunately) so if I were you , I would give the spray a try , and try to forget , if possible , that it doesn’t work for some . It might work for you .
I had to resort to self-injecting , unfortunately. Best wishes
Gambit62 has found them useful in the past and may be able to help you.
Yes,I found them very effective for me - more difficult to get the ones I liked so not really using now- just high dose oral supplements. Studies imply that people generally absorb 1%of high dose oral and 2% of nasal. If trialing them its best to start immediately after a B12 shot.
I use B12 nasal drops ( probably the same thing) but I could only find hydroxocobalamin in the Netherlands. Luckily that’s where my daughter lives so I don’t have to pay postage. They take the edge off things
