Successfully treating B12 will not result in a test result that a GP can reference that indicates they have successfully preformed medicine.

I think a strong indication of reduced symptoms. They would say clinical response to b12 treatment if reviewed .
Can be measured
Before and after regular b12 injections.
Outcomes arnt all measured by blood results .
Thank goodness. 😊
I'm sorry but I don't understand your statement. Do you mean successfully treated B12D?
My bad. I was expressing that a GP does not have tests that indicate they were successful in treating B12. All they have is the patient is greatly improved, symptoms are resolved or mitigated. Which may be part of why GP's do not diagnose or treat using current standards.
It may be that symptoms mean nothing to a GP as they see their job is to get test results that show they are a sucess.
Treating B12D successfully does not meet many GP's personal needs where if they had a test it might.
Conversely because all my tests are negative or OK my ongoing symptoms mean it MUST all be in my head - case concluded and closed.
That resonates!
There is another problem that suffers from similar suffering. . . . . .I know a fella who suffered very bad health for many years . . . . .His symptoms were in line with Thyroid problems but "the tests" were all negative. . . . . . .Eventually he found a doctor somewhere in england who decided to treat him on his symptoms and after 25 years of misery he started to lead a reasonable life again .. . . . In his case he said being a male made the problem worse . . . . .There is a site dedicated to thyroid problems which is very good. . . .My Grandmother had thryoid problems and her GP came and looked at her every couple months. . . . . She done really well for many years but as soon as the blood tests started and new doctors arrived her health went downhill. . . . . . Previously she had been receiving natural based hormones. . . .
Interesting. I had thought that was solved for me as I had been tested. Silly me. My grandmother, mother and daughter had thyroid issues.
