Neuropathy, nausea, shaking start to settle in as soon as I wake. Once up and going for an hour or so I can generally function most days but the mornings are seriously tough.
Do others find their symptoms are gen... - Pernicious Anaemi...
Do others find their symptoms are generally the worst first thing in the mornings?
I used to be much worse early morning .Symptoms are different on waking now but long gone are the expectations of feeling fine and refreshed on waking.
Some of the shaking and nausea i attributed to a low blood sugar as at that time was in bed early p.m so around 14hrs without food
I'm very dependant on a regular food regime otherwise symptoms return even now quite dramatically.
I'm often saying hopefully breakfast of lunch will sort me out.
Your autonomic function may be impaired .
So the symptoms you describe would start sitting up.
Try sipping a large glass of water before moving or water if you wake in the night.
I've found ginger really helpful.
Either ginger root steeped in fresh lemon juice in the fridge to dilute with hot water . I put brown sugar in.
( best with a little food to protest teeth)
Or fizzy Jamaica ginger beer as makes you burp. Easing nausea .
As is having a dry cracker around.
The other reason I got the shakes was low ferritin .
Glad you recover after the rough start to the day.
Hoping it will improve
I always feel blatted first thing. (technical term for tired and generally out of sorts) I start feeling better by lunch and by early evening, I'm good to go 🙂
I feel worse in the morning , cant seem to walk in a straight line until I have showered and been up for an hour also nausea and anxiety worse first thing as is pain and stiffness.
Best wishes and hope you have a good day today😃
Yes absolutely, thought it was just me getting old 😂
Yes, first thing I just don’t feel human. About midday it’s like a switch gets turned on and I feel human again.
Brain fog, sometimes headache first hour or two after getting up.
