Saw this … no mention of B12 … but if it looks like B12 and has an effect of B12 … is it B12??

apple.news/AGHljAoDmR8SvdQt...

Could this be a back door way to keep B12 as a Perscription Only Medicine? Or something else. Can anyone shed any light please?

TIA as always.

The differnce is with the NHS one cap fits all which allows an injection every three months. Where as you can attend a skinny clinic pay a fortune and have as many injections as you like !

The sick battle to obtain there much needed injections where as other's can obtain B12 injections for vanity and supposed weight loss which is questionable? If this was correct I should be looking like Tiggy.

Maybe that link should be batted to our MPs with a question mark as to why the patients with a serious life threatening condition are unable obtain more frequent shot's on the NHS ? ? ? It's all about 💰

P.s As for your reference to quacks in your heading. I think many of us have seen a few quacks over the years, I most certainly have.

On second reading of your link the reference could be these new slimming injections that cost a bomb - Wygovy and Ozempic which I am sure many of the soap stars are using. Dont quote me but I think they were on the news recently.

Hi Jaybird

Not helpful of GP … so you suffer and potentially risk permanent nerve damage … great! (Not!!!)

If diabetics can self inject then so should we … but even then they won’t prescribe the required doses of B12!

GPs in general and many health professionals simply do not realise they don’t understand B12 deficiency and that they talk rubbish as a result!

Thank you for replying
