I heard about the artists who are offering free portraits to frontline NHS workers, as a means of support. This started as an offer from one artist, and has gone worldwide. They add photos of their portraits to the online collection, but the original goes to the NHS worker.
I would like to paint a portrait, but thought it would be better still if I could find someone who has B12 deficiency, that it might bring some attention to this condition at the same time. What do you think ?
This can be done (non-contact) from photos, and would be a free gift to the sitter.

It might be possible, although I'm thinking how difficult it must be to even work those hours with a B12 deficiency, let alone work through a devastating pandemic on the front line.
Over the years there have been at least a couple of dentists, several midwives and more than one doctor on here, as well as quite a few nurses, so you should be able to find someone.
I know lots of them will want to be modest and may be shy but I sincerely hope they do come forward for you - it is an opportunity for you to record this unquestionably historic event, as much as it is a chance to honour them, and their fellow colleagues.
Hi - just wanted to say I am a frontline worker- 13 hour shifts - with B12 deficiency!! I'm sure I'm by no means the only one but just thought I'd let you know that we are out here! Xx
