Vaccines and tinnitus

So I am pretty sure I got tinnitus through Covid Vaccine, and every month after I have had ringing in my left ear. I have been having B12 injections monthly and I was just realizing over the last couple of days that that buzzing was quieter. This morning I went for another B12 and the ringing noise has increaed. Anyone else notice this, and what have you found is the culprit. Ie B12, or any other substance in the transport of the B12.

how often are your b12 jabs? If not often enough then the problems won’t heal. Neuro symptoms require at least every other day injections for some time. Also if your jabs are spaced quite apart, then the jabs help nerves start up again and so things can worsen before improving. The jabs are unlikely to give you tinnitus. That was a symptom of my daughter’s b12d and with enough treatment if was cured completely.

hi Janeames

I only started with tinnitus after having B12 injection s. I am told it’s a sign of healing in the ear canals. It’s definitely getting better with time.

As to cause from Covid or other reasons I don’t know.

Hope you get relief soon. Thanks for sharing.

I had the same things happen. Increased tinnitus and noise sensitivity. Even felt like my ears were burning inside at some points. Doctor looked at ears and said they looked healthy inside.. no obvious infection or anything.

tinnitus has periodically appeared for me before I knew I had a b12 deficiency and long before the covid vaccines. i still get it since starting on weekly injections but perhaps less frequently. might be a sign my nerves in the ear are healing.

Hi , I was just asking my self the same question . I've had tinnitus for a year now . Doctor treated it with canistan ear drops , antibiotic drops . I was told it was due to a fungal pseudomona/ swimmers ear?? and to keep the ear dry. Five visits to the gp.... the infection finally went . I have started B12 drops. 1 week in and hardly any ringing in the ear . So fingers crossed . I also had covid a year ago and believe that it has had an affect on my health. Hoping that the B12 will help .natureprovides.com/products...

As others have said, tinnitus can be a sign of insufficient B12. As covid/vaccine(s) can affect your one carbon metabolism and therefore your ability to metabolise B12 as well as increasing your need for B12, it seems perfectly reasonable that you might end up with additional or worsened symptoms of a B12 deficiency until you have clawed back enough B12 to resolve those symptoms. Many have reported needing their injections sooner than usual for them, or increased need for oral supplements, and as normal, symptoms may appear worse as you heal. Hopefully if this is new for you, it should resolve if you can get enough B12 into your system (and folate as appropriate). Best wishes

Tinnitus can be triggered by vaccines, viruses and B12 deficiency, among other things. Mine started with covid infection in Dec 2020, got much worse after the 1st AZ vax 3 months later and I've had it (along with many other long covid symptoms) ever since. It got much worse with subsequent covid infections. My iron, folate, B12 and other vits were chronically low so I've been on EOD B12 injections for the past 2 months in the hope of improving this and other symptoms. I listen to talk radio or podcasts at a slightly lower volume than my tinnitus to distract from the noise. Would be worth increasing the frequency of your B12 to see if that helps. I hope you find some relief!

Thanks for your comments. I'm taking b12 methylcobalamin as well. I think I will also tale magnesium. I think my folate and iron levels r OK but will check. I'm going to book a hearing check. Seems to me that most doctors think tinnitus goes hand in hand with hearing loss in the states but my hearing is awesome. Let me know if your tinnitus improves.

I was sent for s hearing check .Went but not suprised everything fine.

Also an ear pressure test.

Was fine as well

My ears do pop at times .

A welcome sensation.

Also squeezing parts if my ear stopps it fof a while.

Trying to read sets if off.

Definition nerves in my brain.

Signals to eyes affected.

I found it odd brought o by b12 loafing doses .

Nevef had it before .

Tried whits noise .

Not for me.

Some days I only notice when it's there rather ghs not there.

Exhaling like a dog panting relieves it.

Can't really walk around panting ☺

It's a nuisance but a mild symptoms compared to others

Sorry to hear. Many people have met with real undesirable and debilitating side effects ( including death) with the Covidjab ( check out Dr John Campbell’s videos on YouTube regarding this) .

My wife has Three monthly B12 jags and complains about pins and needles and other unwanted symptoms, but never, thus far, tinnitus. I believe the Covid jab is responsible, like our polluted air, food, and water, for most of our ill health.

I do hope you get to the root of your problem.

Blessings!
