Last weekend I received my 3rd COVID and Flu vaccines. I had no after affects, however am experiencing symptoms that I need my B12 now. I usually SI every fortnight, however this will be after only 5 days. Can anyone suggest why the vaccines pull so much on our B12? As you may guess, I’m no scientist 😏..

Extra B12 needed post vaccination?
The only thing I can guess at is that B12 is used for DNA synthesis and in the process of making the antibody proteins, B and T cells so you will be using more like that.
And more will be used in your liver to bind with any toxins that your body produces as a result of the vaccine carrier and fighting the mild infection reaction that the vaccine causes.
You body will have been working harder to cope with everything so will have been using more resources in terms of vitamins and minerals to do its work.
In some ways it's this depletion of vital nutrients that makes you feel "run down" (as in stocks of things being "run down" until they are in short supply) for quite a while, even once the main symptoms have gone, whenever you have a illness or injury.
Because we normally do our B12 jabs at the minimum frequency that we can get away with and we are more aware of the specific symptoms of B12 deficiency this increased use rate will show up a shortfall sooner and we will recognise it.
The PAS Spring newsletter mentioned B12/methylation changes in connection with Covid and potentially vaccine, prompting me to post healthunlocked.com/pasoc/po.... My father's B12 has certainly taken a major hit, seemingly with vaccine. The articles referred to are

Thanks bookish, l love a good read...
I certainly injected b12 at a higher frequency after my first AZ As poorly
My pleasure. Much of it is beyond me, too, but that was my general conclusion. I've found a small dose of methylfolate added to my B12 made a huge difference to overall functioning. Hope the extra helps and all goes well x
Surely what you’re describing is an after affect and like so many others an ADR that is not being investigated? Please report it to your GP.
That's a fair point I'd not considered, which could help others. I'm not prepared for the usual hour sitting on the phone to speak to someone at my surgery. However I will email them this morning
Report using the MHRA's Yellow Card scheme - they even have a special part for anything related to COVID-19:
COVID-19 Issues
There is a special Covid-19 page which includes vaccines, diagnostic testing kits, a few specific medicines and several other things.
Coronavirus Yellow Card reporting site
Will do
You can also check WHO Vigiaccess site using the correct name Comirnaty for ADRs.
