Exhaustion after injection

Sorry if I should know this but do others feel particularly exhausted w/i hours of an injection? I thought I may have been imagining this (because it makes no sense to me) so I paid attention today. Sure enough about two hours after the injection I feel complete exhaustion; not sleepy. Just super fatigued. Wish I could sleep it off but my body has a very strict circadian rhythm and it doesn’t allow me a nap during the day. It only frustrates me if I try. Resting doesn’t fix the exhaustion either. It is just all I am able to do without pushing really hard. Should I push?

Thanks for any thoughts.

For a long time I felt exactly the same so started doing the injections immediately before bedtime instead. Weirdly if I did it just a few hours before bedtime I couldn’t sleep and my heart would be racing.

I still get tired following an injection but nowhere near so much. I was extremely deficient for a long time and everything was suddenly going into overdrive as my body was processing the b12 which I so badly needed and I needed to rest while this was happening.

Keep going but try to rest after injecting, don’t push yourself too hard until you have recovered a bit more. You could try injecting just before bedtime instead.

Ive found pushing through sets me back.

I do have to persuade my body I csn move to get going. A small task.

Not like pushing through to 'overdo' things

Same happens to me these days feeling more fatigue after an injection.

.I also seen to ' zone out' and lose hours .

I also cannot nap.

And resting makes no difference.

I'm usually better 3rd day after an injection??

I've never had a 'buzz' ftom an injection.

'Wired' a few times which is different as unpleasant.

It just keeps most symptoms at bay .

Slow dlow improvements too.

My vision can go down after an injection also if due one ??

I ache more . That usually does improve after an injection.

Also my eyes can feel heavy and 'sticky '

Tinnitus on and off .

Used to start after sn injection.

My Scalp is so itchy and sore too

No rhyme or reason at times.

It doesn't make sense does it for a b12 injection uo knock you out

I suffer from extreme fatigue after an injection too. For me it's usually the following day or even the day after that. Total wipe out and then I'm back to normal. Interestingly it's not after every injection but most. No idea why. Body processes kicking in? I don't think you are alone though. Good luck with your journey because that is what having PA is, with many twists n turns along the road.

Stay topped up with b12 :-)
