Hi, can anyone please tell me if it's safe to use Methycobal injection 500ug (Mecobalamin) for self-injections? I have only ever used Hydroxocobalamin 1000 ug/1 mL in the past. The pharmacy has Methycobal in stock, hence the question. Thanks.

it is fine just try it is trial and error and if not working for you go back to Hydroxocobalamin
You have aroused my curiosity by writing that your pharmacy has Methylcobalamin for injection . I see that you are in U.K. , and believed it to be unobtainable here . The only place I known how to obtain it is in Germany .( I do not mean the powdered Methylcobalamin. ) Is it on prescription ? .
Thanks for any information .
The pharmacy is in Cyprus (sorry for any confusion), a friend is currently visiting there. The pharmacy is selling Methylcobal injection 500ug (Mecobalamin) over the counter (without prescription). Hope that's helpful. Thanks.
