Hevert vs Panpharma vs Pascoe: Hydroxocolombin brands. Difference in effectiveness?

I’ve been SI-ing for about a week now and I must say I notice a difference between the Panpharma and Hevert B12. I feel much better when using the Hevert branded B12. Am I alone in this thinking. Is there a difference in effectiveness or is it placebo? The Panpharma has really short expiration dates - November 2023, whereas the Hevert has long expiry dates - May 2025.

I’ve just ordered some Pascoe B12, so it will be interesting to compare to the other two brands.

Gerot and lannoch was the first sort I was given .

Now NHS using again.

I think 5 sorts I've had.

All hydroxcobalamin

This is useful to know. Would you know if the NHS ones are stronger than the German pharmacies?

I've been told on many accounts but I'm not entirely sure I believe that.

I have used both hydroxy and cyano in pascoe and panpharma brands and recently purchased the lichtenstein cyano and find them all to be as effective as the other, the only one with a short date was the pascoe hydroxy at 9 / 23,the others are all 2025/2026-all from versandapo

Do you take 2ml of Hervert in one go? That may be playing into it. It could be that more solution is staying in your system for longer.

I personally prefer panpharma as it's milder. At the height of my problems I found Hervert too much for my system to handle.

They both supply 1mg of B12 .

Sure. It's just a theory that more solution may mean it is staying in the body for longer than 1mg in 1ml.

hello Pickle500.

Yes I take it all in one go. Maybe the amount of solution could play a role in how feel relative to the Panpharma.

I’ve tried all 3 brands ,( Hydroxocobalamin) and can say that I’ve not noticed any difference in them . All work well . The main reason for the popularity of Panpharma I think , is that it is the cheapest , the dosage is fine and 1ml is a convenient volume to inject .

But I’m now using Pascoe as I was unable to find any Panpharma . It has 1.5 mg of B12 in an ampoule . I’m keeping to my usual a once a week injection , and all is well .
