Any relation between PA and ulcerative colitis?

Doed anyone know if there is any relation between having PA and Ulcerative Colitis? Anyone have any experience with this?

Not specifically, that I'm aware of, but I only know one person with UC and she doesn't have PA or any B12d,... but I wait to be corrected by others reading your post.

I don't remember it being mentioned very often in the last 8 years I've been following PA stuff so I think it's unlikely there's any direct connection, however I'm sure it would certainly increase your likelihood of being B12 deficient, as Crohn's and other IBD can.

And there's the more general point that if your guts are iffy in some way, somewhere, there's nothing to stop them having other problems too.

I'm sorry if you have both - each are horrible on their own, without having the problems compounded.

Hi, yes I’ve had both PA and Ulcerative Colitis with severe constipation for many years , about 35 yrs. But I have no idea if they are connected , sorry.
