Could people share where they buy supplies for SI? And the sizes of syringes and needles for injecting and drawing up b12 from ampule?
I ask due to some disasters. I was advised by Dr C to get 30g for injecting and drawing up. Well its way way too small a gauge for drawing up. It took ages and I got quite stressed, which made the whole thing a nightmare. Today I opened an order, to find a bunch of needles packed in a padded envelope, no box nothing. It looked like a bonafide site, but is some person reselling god knows what. Needless to say I won't use, as could be counterfeit/contaminated etc.
Desperate for reliable source and correct sizes. Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm brand new here and new to SI. I was shown how to SI subcutaneously, so currently using my tummy (zero discomfort or bruising for me). I realise the method you use might influence what needles you use.
Link provided by private consultant for needles, syringes and swabs: medisave.co.uk/terumo-2ml-s... easy order and cheap.
For hydroxocobalamin 1m depo, I followed recommendations from experienced members here and stocked up from versandapo.de and had no issues getting these. Easy order, quick delivery. Make sure to enter your country first when creating an account if you havent already done so.
Please note that the PAS does not encourage self injection unless under medical supervision. However, the exchange of information on this forum is allowed to ensure that where people feel forced down this route they are at least able to get good advice on where to source safely
I absolutely agree ! I had awful B12 deficiency symptoms. My feet were numb I got a private positive Intrinsic Factor Antibody test at a Nuffield hospital. , but my GP woukd only give 5 loading doses of B12 ( Gloucestershire ) and 1 injection every 3 months . My numb feet were pronounced “idiopathic” My symptoms were unbearable . Eventually found this forum , thank goodness . I was therefore forced to self-inject . I had tried B12 tablets , B12 sub-linguals , nose spray , mouth spray and patches . I was desperate, but nothing woukd move my GP . Thank goodness for this forum . My feet are still painful and burning , but no longer numb . i’m therefore only too happy to help others who are in that terrible situation .
It was very very scary to self - inject at first . I didn’t want to . Why woukd anyone want to? It worries me to think of PA patients who are out there with horrible symptoms , not getting enough of a cheap vitamin . It is OUTRAGEOUS !
