Does taking B6 or a B complex supplements in addition to my eod, injections of B12 help or hinder improvement? Since taking a Thorne B complex, it seems that the hand numbness feels worse at times.

Not certain.

Thanking you all in advance for your help.

Yes, absolutely B6 can cause neuropathy if taken at very high doses.

But if Thorne is your only supplement then the levels are probably not high enough to cause any real problems.

Thiamine (B1) can sometimes have an impact similar to B12, i.e. things get worse before they improve. So it could be that, depending on which stage you're at with healing.

The B6 in the B Complex can build up in your system and cause similar symptoms, it just happened to me , stopped the Complex ten days ago and things are improving again. I had only been taking the B Complex for two months.

Make sure you have a B6 blood test. They don't often check that. Mine was high and a neuroimmunologist suggested that was why my neuropathy (and other) symptoms were not improving with my B12 injections. I had been taking multivitamin tablets for years, and recently mega B complex . I've had to stop taking supplements and limiting foods high in B6, but still having B12 injections fortnightly and I think (after about 6 weeks) things are starting to improve.
