Internal tremors

Hello everyone! This is day five of my loading doses to try and get my symptoms to subside. I think things are settling down a little bit, but one of the symptoms that really hits me hard is internal tremors. Mine gets so bad it makes me nauseous. What’s your experience with this? Thank you all for your feedback and guidance! Sending well wishes and good health to everyone! XO

Lots of us have /had all sorts of sensations and twitches, from it feeling like a mobile phone on vibrate to butterflies-in-your-tummy in all sorts of random places, as well as in your abdomen.

Even now (7+ years of daily SI) I still get eye twitches and the odd "mobile on vibrate" sensation if I get tired.

Restless leg syndrome is common amongst us too but is more linked to low iron. It just shows how nerves can misfire if you have deficiencies.

What are your magnesium levels like? Low magnesium can make muscles tremor so make sure you have plenty in your diet and consider using it on your skin, having Epsom Salts baths and maybe taking a supplement to see if it improves things.

Are you SI? If you are and can keep going with frequent doses I think it would be a good idea, to see if it improves with time.

I think it's safe to give it a bit longer to see if that is the only problem but don't ignore what might be other things.

That said, I don't know what else it could be, and know it is quite likely to just be as a result of nerve repair.

I hope it resolves soon and would love to hear how you get on with it.

Keep going with the B12 and don't let it dip. You need huge amounts consistently for repair to take place. Co-factors are important, but can usually be achieved with a multivitamin/mulitmineral. The B12 is the critical factor and the most powerful vitamin for nerve repair.

I had shocking internal tremors that made me worry about SACD, made worse by not keeping a schedule on every other day injections. But since these are deemed to be neurological symptoms, you should ask the GP if you can keep going, and get every other day injections until your symptoms have subsided.

This doesn't always happen/they won't always agree, but we must be assertive with GP's and medics who 'don't know much about B12'. Or, in fact, nutrition in general.

CBD oil can also help calm you if you're feeling distressed.

Before my diagnosis I convinced myself that I was pregnant because of the muscle twitches in my lower tummy. I could actually see it moving and it felt just like a baby. The twitches eased as soon as the injections kicked in. I still get the odd twitches here and there now if I'm tired, but nothing like they used to be.
