Donating blood

Hi all I'm lucky enough to still be able to donate blood and am due to go this evening after work. I am getting my B12 jab from the nurse at lunch time so wondered if it will have any negative impact donating blood the same day. Thanks in advance.

sorry - really don't know - in theory it shouldn't impact but it would be best to ask the transfusion service that is taking the blood

Each nation of the UK has its own blood collection service. And, if you live close enough to a border, you might be able to give in another nation.

Check the details for the relevant organisation(s):

England

blood.co.uk/

Northern Ireland

nibts.hscni.net/

<no flag>

Scotland

scotblood.co.uk/

Wales
