My G P tells me my blood results are 15 so I am fine with my r.b.c..count.Can anyone help me to understand this please.I am on 2mthly injections.

Hi Not entirely sure which part of your blood results came back at 15? It may be an idea to get a copy of your blood results from your GP practice if you are not sure which thing it was - with a bit more info we might be better able to help you understand them. :-)

I am trying to get a copy of my latest blood result from the practice but not that easy.The bloods were taken in June 2016 so a bit out of date.Thank you for your interest.I will get back to you when I have the results.Ann

Just a ps I think the 5 I was given is the red blood cell count.Which probably is quite good ?

It depends on the range for your area to be honest!

The range for my area for red cell counts is 3.8 - 5.8 x10^12 so if your result is 5 x 10^12 cells with a similar range then this is probably normal. It is hard to tell without more info though as each area can have a different ranges and units...
