Tissue Salts

So, given that I was in Covent Garden on Monday, and quite literally walking past the end of their road, it felt plain rude not to call into Helios Homeopathy.

Following a chat with the homeopath I decided to get a remedy called Combination 12 Tissue Salts. I need to take that for a minimum of three months.

Amongst a host of other potential benefits, the one that made my ears prick up is that it can help the body with absorption of vitamins. Since I clearly have not been absorbing enough B12 (yes, NHS, I'm looking at you - placebo effect my a**e!) and as I'm also treated long-term by the NHS for my Vitamin D deficiency, this sounded well worth a try for a relatively low investment.

Sounds good.I used tissue salts many years ago.

They can be beneficial as can homeopathic remedies.

It's complementary of course.

Definitely worth a try .

Thank you for this information rogergee 🤗

I’ve successfully used homeopathy for most of my life and now buy remedies from Helios, plus liquid silver in a dropper, which I last used to clear an ear infection.

Probably took a bit longer than antibiotics, but these would have messed up fragile tum….

PS. Agree NHS is not the best place to find good info on vitamin D 😟, since the latest researched advice is to take at least 5,000 i.u.

Ooh, interesting about the liquid silver. If you know a bit more about that, maybe you wouldn't mind dropping me a private message about it? Thanks.

I did post a response to Nackapan but the ether has disappeared it.

I used to be quite a long-term patient at the Homeopathic Hospital in London, much of that time back in the days when homeopathic remedies were available there on NHS prescription. While Nackapan is right in this case and I chose the tissue salts remedy to be made up for me as complementary to my NHS regime, homeopathic remedies are not always complementary, as you've demonstrated Polaris.

I only know it’s also widely used for skin infections rogergee and that many vets use it on animals. Oh, and used to be used to purify water.
