B12 supplements
Hi ninja1,
As no-one has replied.
I worked with a private dietician and functional nutritionist. Then started studying myself. Dietetics is pretty complicated and we are all individual with different heights, weights, activity, muscle tone, metabolic rate, history and genetics etc. This is why the paltry every 2 -3 months maintenance dose of vitamin B12 injections is utter rubbish, in my humble opinion.
I am a coeliac with lactose intolerance and hypersensitivities. So, can’t take a ‘multivitamin’ as yes, they may be labelled as gluten free but are produced in a factory that handles wheat.
I’ve Small Intestinal Bacterial/Archaea Overgrowth (had to be proved by gut microbiome) but it was misdiagnosed and undiagnosed and an on going battle.
One has to be careful not to over supplement as well. Especially, with fat soluble vitamins.
For me, it’s pretty much the lot.
The dietician took magnesium threonate themselves as everyone is a little deficient in this.
In previous posts, I have mentioned the body’s ‘currency’ of energy’ ATP.
(Like the £, $, Euro for money). It should actually be called Magnesium-ATP.
I also take things like glutathione (a lovely antioxidant) and a couple of amino acids.
Sorry, I know that’s a politician’s answer.
Best wishes.
