I get weekly injections. I had numbness in my hips and legs, with pain off and on in my feet. Tingling all over my body. And really bad constipation. When the nurse practioner sent me for my first injection I couldn't breathe, my pulse was dropping into the 30s. My brain felt like it stopped for less than a second sometimes. I fainted 3 times.

After my first injection, I could breathe easier. My brain fog started letting up. The tingling got worse. I went to a cardiologist, neurologist, internist, gastroenterologist, endocrinologist, etc. None of them knew anything about B12. I kept getting my weekly injections. I could feel my feet. The tingling got really bad, but the numbness was going away...

I started a multi B with 100 thiamine with lower doses of the other B vitamins in it. I added magnesium. Something was working something wasn't. I started taking 100 thiamine and 200 magnesium at night. The numbness was mostly gone except by my toes. It came back a little here and there but mostly gone. I got a B complex with 50 for all the Bs except B6. My constipation isn't as bad.

For me, it seems the tingling is the nerve regrowth. It got really bad at times, but I would have less numbness everytime the tingling let up

I still get tingling after taking my multi B but it doesn't last as long. Usually, when it lets up, I have a low internal tremor instead of the horrible all over tingling. I am hoping that too will stop.

Watch out for B6. It can cause your neuropathy to get worse.

I gave up sweets and coffee at first and started eating salads. That helped with the neuropathy. I find I can tolerate sugar and carbs a little better. I think it's the Thiamine.I also have hashimotos

I have had neuropathy for at least 12 years. The only help I've gotten is from a Nurse Practioner who listened to me about my symptoms. Another nurse practioner told me I have pernicious anemia, but I need to see a neurologist. I was on vacation when I saw her. The neurologists back here in Pennsylvania seem to know nothing about B12. One if them told me they do nothing with B12 because messing with vitamins wasn't a good idea.

I also have hashimotos. One of my doctors lowered my dose the month before the nurse practioner started my weely B12 injections. I have been getting injections for 7 months. My hashimos has gotten better.

Just be careful of B6. It can be toxic.
