Vet suppliers would only sell Cynocobalamin .They would work , but the NHS uses a later edition of B12 ,called Hydroxocobalamin. Here is one of the German online pharmacies where you can obtain it
Vitamin B12 ampoules can be obtained from certain German online pharmacies . These pharmacies are strictly controlled by the German health authorities.
This is a reliable pharmacy which many members use . They use DHL courier which costs ā¬9.00 no matter how many packs of ampoules you buy . You can pay with PayPal or Bank Transfer .
They stock the most popular brand called Panpharma B12 Depot . ā DEPOTā indicates that the type of B12 is Hydroxocobalamin , which is the kind that the NHS uses. Hydroxocobalamin is written on the packet . The ampoules are 1mg x 1ml . The reference number for this item is 16199653. If you search for this number , you get straight to the item . This site is in German , so you might need to use Google Chrome or a translation app.
If the ampoules are out of stock ( nicht lieferbar) It usually takes a day or two for them to be back in stock .
It usually takes 4 working days for delivery .
I recommend registering with versandapo.de You will get 200 plus points when you do this , and 1point for each euro that you spend . 250 points represent ā¬2.50 and you can use them against your next purchase . You can look up in your account to see how many points you have .

Hi Iāve just ordered a pack of 10 from here, they would only allow a pack of 3 last month, hoping I donāt get a Mail saying it was an error, they are a great price right now, delivery was ā¬17 though which is quite steep to Ireland
Did you see that news on the Versandapo website , or #have you received it directly from them? What I do know is that German online pharmacies are not allowed to send a prescription item to a country where that item is prescription only . That is a rule and that makes good sense, as prescription items can be dangerous if used willy - nilly .In the case of B12 ampoules -they are an ā Over The Counter ā item in Germany.
It is well known that B12 cannot be overdosed , so there is no danger associated with B12 ampoules . I believe that is why they will send them to the U.K. . But if they are directly asked about them they will officially say that they do not supply the U.K. with them, because of that rule . Iām going to try to order some now and see how I get on . I am registered with them .
Iāve just ordered B12 ampoules from versandapo.de Paid with PayPal .Absolutely no problem at all . Do try again . You could try bodfeld-apotheke.de. They are also a good reliable online pharmacy . Good luck .
Hey, thank you for getting back to me! I just tried ordering from them this morning and it wouldn't go through correctly (the international delivery fee wouldn't come up). I spoke to someone on chat and she said they couldn't send b12 injection to the UK.
So if they're OTC in Germany it's meant to be legal for them to send it to any other country regardless of whether it's OTC there? I tried bodfeld and it went through, it's just they don't accept Paypal or debit/card for the order, which feels a bit sketchy (if something happens I think it could be harder for me to get my money back).
Strictly they are not supposed to send any pharmaceutical items to a country where that particular item is a prescription item . .But as you know many German online pharmacies turn a blind eye to that for B12 ampoules only , because they are harmless and cannot be overdosed . Thank goodness that they do ! -What would we do otherwise ? As I said ,if asked , they will say that they canāt send them . They wrote that to me on an email once . We rely on the fact that they will do this Do register with them . I seem to remember that when you fill out the form for your address, itās best to put in your country first , chosen from the drop down list that appears . Put in U.K. first, before the other details of your address . I think that list is in German , where the U.K. is referred to as āVEREINIGTES .KĆNIGREICH GROSSBRITTANIENS UND NORD IRELAND ā Iām not 100% sure about that . Once you are registered , you will have no further problems .
If you really canāt manage that , use Amazon.de which is simpler. They donāt sell the popular and cheaper Panpharma B12 depot , but they sell Hevert B12 depot . 1mg. X 2 ml ampoules .
I ended up going on to Amazon De. using my Amazon. account (and Chrome) It was very quick and easy. For some reason Versandapo wouldnt acceot my postcode. Even though I had changed the translation to English.

Bodfeld Apotheke is where I get Panpharma B12. 'Depot' simply means it stays in your system for longer, i.e. depot can refer to any long lasting injection, and for B12 this generally means its Hydroxocobalamin.
