New management team at my surgery

Last Friday a new nurse queried my injection as not 3 months !!and would not give it until she'd sen a senior partner .

He wants authorisation from a neurologist.

I have a letter on my notes advising my present regime 2 weekly and sc at home.

Two letters now in.

Two emails.

Booked a telephone consultation with my ' normal' g.p.

Received aTEXT saying she had spoken to a senior gp partner and to carry on with my regime .

Shame by text .

I'm waiting now to see that on my notes more clearly stated .

so no further battles with a nurse next time.

Also for 2 monthly to be amended to 2 weekly ( changed by nurse)

I assume in error.

Also one DNA to be removed off my notes

Data protection 2018.

I will then relax

. Big relief already though .

Thank goodness but what a lot of hassle. It’s worth taking a snapshot of the text, print out, time and date it. Best wishes

Well done you! Why, oh Why do we have to have this continual fight to obtain a simple but life-saving injection.....I despair, I really do. About time GP training was updated across the UK and the variances in treatment regimes across health boards sorted out. The cost to the NHS of missing symptoms and diagnosing let alone the permanent health damage caused to thousands is beyond comprehension. Sorry, rant over. xx

I think it is possible to print a text from some phones, don't ask me how though...my B12 addled brain is not good with technology. I searched online for "printing text messages from phone".

I would probably do a screen shot on my phone then email the photo to myself ,sorry that’s the only way I’d know to do it xx
