If you need more frequent B12 injections , and get them , it can indeed helpto improve the myelin layer of affected nerves . In some cases you can feel worse before the heaimhg happens . This didn’t happen to be , but i read about this happening to others on this forum

But if the B12 deficiency has gone on for too long , the nerve damage can be irreversible. But it is always worth persisting , as the healing can take quite some time apparently Best wishes

We paid for private physio for my partner, he had sciatica and couldn't walk without pain, he'd sleep on the sofa because it was impossible to get upstairs. That £40.00 was the best money we spent (other than monies for b12) the physio explained to him that b12 repair nerves and the tablets he was on was not enough to get into the system. Since then he has excepted he needed the injections, so now he has had three injections and already there is an improvement.

Very rarely in over three months does he want painkillers

And with in the last two days has returned to sleeping in bed. Ok hes far from recovered but he is walking gingerly, but the improvement is unbelievable to what he was. A few more months recovery and who knows !

Well can you remember your mum advising you on different aspects of life, we ignored her, yet months or events years later we realised that perhaps she had a point. If it took somebody else to tell him that's fine by me.....

Definitely. I got slit worse before improvements started. In loading g stage a living nightmare.

When I started to try and get a bigger gap I wasn't progressing .

For me I had to go in stages to tolerate it.

I'm still hoping to make improvements as a positive person.

It's not in a linear line though.

Keep going and make a few notes.

I'm still improving at a snaiks pace 3+ years on.

I was told it takes time!!

I was a late diagnosis as carried on .

Being told age menopause ect .

So gradual unbelievable now I didn't get more /any appropriate tests i think I didn't make enough fuss and put up with far too much.

Took years so i guess will take years to repair as much as possible.

Takes longer the older yih are I think.

May take a few weeks for your all ailments to mend, but just imagine in two or three months time you might just feel like a teenager 😜.One caution you wont be cured for ever, so regular maintenance is required for life.

All the best

Yes in my case taken s couple of years to make first proper improvements that stayed Some weeks some months.

No-one the same .

Very fortunate if weeks or months.

Just so you stay positive and don't get defeated.

I was told I'd be fine after loading doses!!

I've heard it can for some.

I can get irritable at certain stages of healing. I believe nerves too healing.

I've only ever had hydroxcobalamin

After reading reading some negative side effects of methycobalamin with mood and irritability.

Cyanocobalamin is said to leave your body sooner. But fine for most it seems .

So hydroxcobalamin appears the most stable .

I tried different sorts in tablet form snc sorats s but don't think I absorbed it or not enough to tell!

Hooe the bumpy ride brings positive results
