I know some people have been questioning if subcutaneous injection is as good as IM and as i happened to come across the following i thought I would post link from university of Sussex medical centre if anyone is interested, in which they state it is just as effective
subcutaneous injection: I know some... - Pernicious Anaemi...
subcutaneous injection
As I can only confidently do subcutaneous injection, I work on the basis subcutaneous is better than no injection...but nice to know both ways just as good officially 😄

I have been SC for years. It works PERFECTLY WELL.
My apologies. It was not meant that way but rather in complete agreeance with you, wholeheartedly so as I am so fed up, as I am sure many others are too of the medical profession telling us otherwise over here.
ah yeah, sorry for taking it the wrong way😱
Hi Dragonfly
Brilliant! I felt as if I was being a wimp and letting the side down by not “progressing” to IM.
You have enabled me to feel comfortable as I am! Phew! Thank you

Everyone reacts differently to B12. Some lucky people are fine with subcutaneous, others, like me, must IM to feel any better.
Try both to see which works best for you!
Hi Ratherbewalking
That’s true! I suppose it’s a balance of what works vs what we can manage which may not necessarily be optimal.
I could not manage IM so I need to optimise SC as it appears to work for me. But I will never know if IM would give me better results.
I am a wimp after all 🤪🤪
