as@Nackapan says - it is best to open and use all in one go - you need the full 2ml to get a 1000ml anyway. The syring isn't a sealed sterile environment once it has been loaded so storing in the syringe means increasing contamination risks.

Although Hevert is a2ml ampoule, it contains just 1 mg of b12 -the same dose as Panpharma . That is the usual dose . No don’t save any in the fridge . They are called SINGLE dose ampoules! Please be careful .

I would not recommend this as "safe" but honestly I do this regularly, as suggested by someone else on this forum, and I have never had a problem. It is clearly a risk (as is using a multi-dose vial - which I have also done without issues, and which is controversial here). I wanted to be able to use 500 mcg doses and couldn't bear to throw it away because it is so hard to get.

In the US, when I buy methyl B12 injections from a health infusion spa (I guess that's what you'd call it?) they draw them up from a multi dose vial and give me multiple syringes, which are stored in the dark in the refrigerator. Keep in mind a multi-dose vial may contain extra preservatives that a single dose ampoule doesn't contain.) I only split a single-use ampoule if I am using it the very next day, and I store the syringe immediately in the fridge, capped and wrapped in foil to keep out the light.

Again, this is NOT how they are intended to be used, and it can't be called "safe" but you asked if it was possible.

Also bear in mind what others have mentioned about Hevert being 1000 mcg/2 mL, so make sure you're getting the dosage you want/need. (Hevert didn't seem to work as well for me for some odd reason, so I stopped using it, but YMMV.)

Thank you. That is really interesting. But Panpharma 100 ampoule is not available any more. And getting even pack of 10 is getting harder.

I think it's totally possible to get a batch that was improperly stored, especially coming across the ocean! If it works for you, that's all that matters. If it was all I could get, I would order it again. Here it is easier to get cyanocobalamin from Canada, at least it was the last time I tried.

I got hervert in 2ml that has 3000ug/3000mcg b12 and while my reading suggests 2 jabs will do you no harm I'd like others veiw point who have been at this longer than I have . . . . .I dont think I'd like to save a 2nd dose in the opened vial until the next day. . . . The 3000ug is not that much more expensive and it was available to ireland quickly . . . . . if I had my loading done again as was in august I think I'll be happy with a shot every few weeks. . . . . I lasted near to 5 weeks after the initial loading. . . . .Then within days I could notice my body and mind going wrong again. . . . .I got on bended knee and GP gave me 3 more 1000ug jabs one apart of each other and then that was that. . . . . . . .I was not prepared for what B12 could do for me apart from red blood cells and oxygen.. . . . .all these other problems I had????. .. . . .It was a wow moment in my life, , , , , , , I still a bit apprehensive as I got a numb leg from one brand. . . . .made no sense to me but that is what happened. . . . .
