I have added spain to the title of your post. Generally I think cyanocobalamin is used in Spain - your pharmacist might be able to advise you on if hydroxo is available locally - otherwise you can order from on-line pharmacies in France or Germany

In case it helps, the official Spanish medicines site is available, in English, here:

cima.aemps.es/cima/publico/...

However, the search terms need to be the proper Spanish words, I think.

At least you can find out what products are available, if any.

I've read here before that b12 is a nonprescription medicine in Spain. Maybe, as advised above, you could just go to a local drugstore and ask for some. Most People in this forum Live in the UK, so we might get a little confused by their rules. I Live in Brazil and whenever I feel like I need a jab, i just call to a drugstore and ask them to send some for me. In Brazil the minimum dosage available in the market is 5mg (ciano) and people in this forum often use 1mg (hydroxo). I used to feel tempted to try hydroxo, but i am doing so fine with my ciano... Maybe someday, when i travel to Germany, whi knows ((hugs))

I live in Cadiz and you can't buy b12 injections over the counter where I am but I do know people in other areas can. I buy mine through the German Amazon site, usually arrives within a week.

Yes I do this often too but it is always cyanocobalamin. I still go for my eight weekly Hydroxy injections in U.K. as well.

I bought these vials (1mg cyanocobalamin) in Spain at the local pharmacy no problems at all, 2.50 euros for a pack of 5 when on holiday there in 2019. Brought my own needles and syringes. Why can't we do the same. I also would like to know where these beauticians who offer B12 parties get theirs from as they seem to have a never ending supply to hold these so called 'parties'- the fairies???
