Thanks, Sleepybunny- Very interesting study with large number of participants.

140pmol/L used for the study as "low B12" = 189.7 ng/L (1 pmol/L = 1.355 ng/L)

Surprised that only 56.2% of those with a B12 of less than 140 pmol/L had elevated MMA (in this case, described as above 300 nmol/L).

Not surprised that only 4.4% had elevated MCV.

......and not at all sure about eGFR at less than 60 : perhaps because so rarely measured ( ? )

This could prove very useful for those who have presented a confusing set of results when tested - especially because of the transparency regarding study tests used to make the comparisons and the number of people involved.
