I have noticed a great similarity between PA and other B12 deficiency, and Long Covid. Possibly due to the immune response, Maybe this will help all the people whose GP s do not recognise these symptoms . I do hope so.
Do you think this is right?

Yes
Absolutely.
Martyn Hooper, founder of the Pernicious Anaemia Society, saw these similarities and contacted medical professionals about this.
I don't know if this has been looked into now or what the outcome is. It would be interesting to know whether B12 has been trialled as part of the long covid treatment.
I did read some research on patients hospitalised with covid being treated with DMB - which if memory serves me right (and it usually doesn't) is vitamin D, magnesium, B vitamins. It is possible (dare we hope?) that findings will one day also be of benefit to those with B12 deficiency -or at least, the severity of the condition might become more widely recognised, along with at least a few of the symptoms - and nurses can stop believing we are either addicted to B12 or hypochondriacs when 3-monthly injections proved inadequate.
