Hi I've mistakenly ordered cyanocobalamin instead of depot b12 ampoules from Germany. Does anyone know if it makes a difference? Thank you.

In theory it shouldn't make any difference unless there is a history of lebers in your family - in which case you should not use cyanocobalamin but lebers is a rare genetic condition. Some people find that cyanocobalamin works better for them. clivealive uses cyanocobalamin because he didn't get on with hydroxo. On average people retain hydroxo longer than cyano but there are some that retain cyano longer, so the reality is that it is a bit of a 'how long is a piece of string' scenario

Cyanocobalamin is what we use here in the U.S. I've never tried hydroxocobalamin so I can't compare but cyanocobalamin works for me.
