My GP surgery has agreed for a monthly prescription and for me to self inject at home. I have have a lot of supplies over ordered on needles and B12 some that is due to expire in April it will be a shame to waste it!
Is it safe to use B12 after its use b... - Pernicious Anaemi...
Is it safe to use B12 after its use by date?
So long as it has been kept dark and ideally cool, I wouldn't have any problem with using it myself.
Some of the ones I have bought to get over the immediate impact of Brexit will have gone out of date by the time I use them and I have planned this.
Thanks, I suspect not dangerous, maybe lose some potency overtime. I have a lot that expire in June too.
Me too. Some of mine will be 6 months past its expiry date when I use them. I can't imagine anything harmful it might form if it did go off.
Wish I hadn't bought so many needles. My nurse have me shorter needles which are fine for me. Can I pass the longer needle onto anyone who may need them, if allowed?
Yup. Perfectly legal to supply needles.
Do you use two needles, one to extract from the vial, the other to inject? You could use the long ones for the first bit.
Yes I do, I have green to draw up, and blue to inject. I bought such a large order, I was new to this last year and panic bought, I could open a chemist!
