Concerning whether Pernicious Anaemia patients are more susceptible to the covid 19 virus .

I would agree that Pernicious Anaemia patients are no more likely to be susceptible to the virus than any other healthy person , as long as they are not being under treated or not treated at all . When I hear on this forum that GPs are denying P.A. patients B12 injections for various spurious reasons , I am outraged . They will become vulnerable in their B12 deficient state. We all know how our general health deteriorates when we are without sufficient injections .

Admin Edit: This post has been closed to responses as a result of discussions around vaccine safety - an off topic conversation for this forum. Apologies to those who have already responded and expressed our shared frustrations at the on-going inadequate treatment of patients with B12 absorption problems, and the added frustrations caused by responses during the pandemic.
