Oh no, you poor soul.

A couple of people on a Facebook B12 group have had it and survived OK so there is hope.

Sending you every good wish possible! xx

Thinking of you and sending healing prayers. I had it last spring for a full month with nightly fevers.

Take care of yourself, sleep on your front, and check in regularly with your doc.

In the end I took antibiotics which seemed to finally end it. But everyone is different.

Please keep us updated on your condition.

Xoxo

Day 21: three weeks !Finally - no fever, rash going, cough going, taste returning.

Still looking rough: yellow-grey skin, mauve lips - a bit like a vampire.

Not much energy either.

But who cares ?

I've been very lucky.

I really think that upping B12 back to EOD helped. At worst, did not have the energy to inject at all.

Thanks everyone.

Sounds like you’re over the worst—yay! Continue to go slowly, your body still needs plenty of rest. Xoxo

Sorry to hear that.

Have you got enough B12 in for your injections?

Vitamin C and zinc I also find helpful.

And chicken / egg for protein and vitamin D!

Hope you only have mild symptoms and can rest up

Best wishes

Thinking of you Cherylclaire.

Rest and stay hydrated.

As Leils posts above, vitamin D3 very important. It will help to support your immune system. A spray may be easier to use.

Sending healing thoughts.

My best wishes and blessings for a swift recovery.

what others have said about C, D (and K) and zinc. seems almost everything is focused on waiting for superman (the vaccine). meanwhile there is only upside for taking supplements.

there is some very old and bad science saying you can get in trouble with high dose vit D. hopefully that's not a thing in the UK. i have personally taken over 10k IU (16 times the RDA) for months with no issues. I'm also a fan of high dose C. That i can actually feel. rare. i do about 2grams a day and have gone as high as 12grams (130 times the RDA) before having GI issues. zinc and some other mineral supps do upset my stomach. not sure if that's the zinc or filler. but i take 50mg zinc with food now.

since consistently being on high dose C (over 4 years now) a few things have happened. i don't get sick much. taking vit C when i get sick has never helped me. but being on it all the time sure seems to. and my gum health has improved. dental pockets actually reversed according to my dentist. this is rare. also, you will see IV C was used in china and italy for clincal trials on covid. not sure if the results are in yet. i would not be surprised if they have good success.

IV vit C has been around for a long time. and it's able to get your blood levels much higher than oral. but like B12 it isn't a money maker.

anyway, wishing you a fast recovery and hopefully lifelong immunity!

Thanks everyone. Day 12 and it's not done with me yet. It's slow and unpredictable and very tiring. Not struggling to breathe though, so not afraid.

Good news: having vaccination next week !No problems beyond a slight cough if too cold and rash almost gone now.

I've been lucky.
