Best place to get B12 & supplies

Hi, After being newly diagnosed with PA and also having a useless GP I’ve decided my only option of getting better is to SI. Where is the best site to order B12, needles etc from? I live in Scotland.

My Dr was previously treating me for depression as I’ve been going downhill steadily this year. It was only after seeing a Facebook post about B12 deficiency that I realised I was suffering from quite a lot of these symptoms. I requested a test and my level was 148. I was immediately started on 5 loading doses then told next one due no sooner than 12weeks. I was off work for 6 weeks then phased back in. When I was on my third week back my headaches returned and I felt like I’d been stabbed in my eye. I got signed off again and my dr retested B12 only. It came back 916 so he said oh thats fine now, your problem is anxiety! He told me to stop the antidepressants I was on for 5 days as they clearly weren’t working and start new ones. I started them on Saturday and took another one yesterday. I felt totally spaced out and had pains in my stomach! I’m not going to take anymore as don’t feel anxiety is my problem! My only anxiety is he’s not listening to me or treating my PA properly. He made me feel like I was off my head!!

This is why I’m opting to SI as it’s my only hope now

I get the majority of my supplies from Medisave, the only item I don't get is the actual b12, my GP is happy for me to SI as long as they provide the b12

Thanks, no my GPS are very much nobody needs an injection less than 12 weeks apart. I’ve quoted guidelines and been shot down in flames! I’ve no chance getting B12 viles from my GP. I’m going to go for my 12 week injections and SI as often as needed inbetween.

I did exactly the same. I asked the GP asnwered no. Some time later I wrote with references and bibliography I don’t think she even bothered to read my letter. We shouldn’t have all this nonsense, but thankfully we have an easy solution. All the very best. Take care of youself.

Sorry to hear this. I do wish doctors would think about the consequences of inadequate treatment!! They shouldnt be retesting your b12 once on injections its unnecessary and pointless! And as for treating you by repeated b12 results ridiculous but common sadly.

Good for you for deciding to take matters into your own hands. Versandapo.de is one source. If you use google chrome it will translate for you unless you are good at reading german. I think most people buy from Germany. Medisave in uk will sell you the needles and syringes.

Someone posted this and I Saved it.

It’s where I get it from. All the links and info on here.

I had the same experience with GP I’m investigating my gut biome next. I suggest you look into that too .

Just in case you haven't seen it. the next post is entitled "Is anyone else not able to order 12 ampoules from the German pharmacies?" - so it seems there may still be a glitch. Have a try, it could be sorted out.
