Has anyone tried cbd oil for the nerve pain caused by b12 def. I’m injecting every other day which is working great for me I’ve dropped so many Of the nasty symtoms but the nerve pain seems to really ramp up some days,I have it especially bad in my right forefinger,it’s like I have carpal tunnel but in my finger especially at my knuckle it’s strong enough to make me drop my cup. It’s not so bad in my feet now but still there but tolerable.Ive sent away for some cbd oil and I asked the company is there any reason I can’t use it with p.a and b12 injections and they’ve just responded check with gp,of course they’re ,gp,are going to say don't use and prescribe drugs instead aren’t they. The thing I find frustrating with these companies is how can they sell something making medicinal claims but at the same time hit you with “consult your gp” when you actually ask them a simple question about the product, anyway if anyone uses opinions would be appreciated please.x

My neuropathy isn’t caused by B12. I’ve tried all forms of CBD with no effect.

I'm not sure about mine. I've been referred to orthopaedics and now rheumatology... Persistent chronic back pain.... Possibly peripheral neuropathy. The pain is terrible.

What have you found caused it if you don't mind me asking.? I’m thinking now maybe just return it when it does arrive and get my money back it was £50.

I had a back injury a lot of years ago and lost the feeling in left leg down into foot,I dragged it along for a long time when I was back walking again then got referred to John Radcliffe in oxford for neuro tests, he stuck a few needles down my leg into foot and put an electrical charge through them then said in results report I had minimal nerve damage but I never fully recovered and still have issues with that leg. That’s was actually 30 + years ago gosh it’s flown lol.

Mine is idiopathic axonal neuropathy. The long nerves in my arms and legs don’t send sensory signals.

I've had problems with various joints for about 40 years. Docs always say my knee problems are because of my weight. I ask them what causes the wrist problems because I don't walk around on my hands. I then suggest that the simplest answer is that both have the same cause.

This bout of knee pain was caused by my neuropathy. In particular the lack of balance. I was out walking the hounds when I stepped on a small rock with my heel. My left leg shot forward and jarred the knee before I could regain my balance.

After that the lack of balance makes it nearly impossible to hobble. So more strain on that knee, the hip on that side, the other knee, etc. all in a cascade of pain.

So sorry to hear that it’s not much fun having all that pain day in day out.I have a lot of pain like you but I’ve had it all my life they used to say it was growing pains when I was a child but it’s never left me and effects me in random places like you wrists and hands and I’ve very weak wobbly ankles,I do now have oesteoporosis in back and hips and I’ve had a few falls last one really did a lot of head damage.thats why I try and find things to help ease the pain as I can’t take codeine etc any more,I’m hoping the cbd oil does something.Have you tried PeaPure I came across that last night when I was googling your diagnosis.?

I hope you heal quickly it makes you weary doesent it.

Hi Thrones, I have been trying Cbd oil for the last three months for nerve pain and pain in my hands and feet as you describe. I have now found that a dose of 4 drops of 1000mg per day of a good quality oil, I have BlessedCBD, is making a noticeable difference .If I have a bad day , I increase the dosage by a few drops . I did stop taking it for 4 days as a trial and noticed straight away that my fingers and feet were becoming more painful again.

All the research tells you that its a very individual response , reaction , dosage and the frequency needs to be fit to you . Much like everything else in the world of PA ! I have been struggling with my GP not accepting that my body doesn't absorb the B12 tablets prescribed during lockdown , and that I require the injectable, so my symptoms became really quite scary again, I found that Cbd certainly assisted in my nerve pain and calming my mind , whilst battling for an injection !!!

I though that it was worth a try , and for me it seems to be positive so far... good luck

Hi Cavaliere that’s good to hear as that’s the same brand I went for after reading lots of reviews.i just felt a bit dissapointed today with the customer services response to my concerns ,I didn’t feel it was adequately answered.

I’ll give it a try then and report back in a couple of months when I see how it goes Fingers crossed and thank you.x

I was going to suggest that you try it at least - everyone is different and it might work for you even if it doesn't work for others.

It seems to be helpful to enough people for it to have at least some basis of use.

I suggest trying it in a scientific way and make diary notes on the results/any symptoms or feelings with scores on a scale of 10 for anything obvious: try a minimal amount and gradually increase each day until you notice a difference or you think you are not going to get any positive reaction. Then stop it for a while and see how long it takes for your symptoms to return (or go if they are negative ones) and then try again. Repeat this until you know what works for you.

And bear in mind that the B12 will take between 6 and 18 months for the worst nerve problems to resolve at optimum healing rate - longer if anything reduces the efficiency of your healing, such as other deficiencies becoming limiting factors in the rate of improvement.

Good luck and don't despair - with enough B12 and supporting supplements your finger will get better!
