I'm wondering if anyone else experiences sudden drops in b12 or whether there are any research articles available about this phenomenon?
One of the symptoms I had before treatment was terrible digestive issues. These were relatively unpredictable and at the time I experimented with all manner of dietary constraints but to no really success. However two times when I would without fail be unwell were after drinking alcohol or having argument with my partner. Although these symptoms are much improved now I am having my bimonthly injections I still feel I suffer and am compromised far more the day after either of these than is normal. I wonder if I may be experiencing sudden drops in b12 'in the blood' (that's probably the incorrect term), and whether there is anything out there that explores this particular phenomenon within PA?
Many thanks in advance

I find that drinking alcohol gives me a worse hangover with nausea and exhaustion than the amount drunk would warrant.
I now si twice a week and can tolerate a glass of wine without feeling too awful the next day. However, before I was diagnosed and before I received adequate injections I’d find that a glass or 2 would leave me feeling awful for 2 or 3 days.
There have been lots of posts in this forum about the effects of alcohol. A few people seem to be fine but a lot seem to suffer as I do.
There have also been posts about the effect of stress and B12 and some people have commented that stress seems to exacerbate symptoms.
