Yes as long as thats the teason causing it. In my cases my ferritin was low and I had to taises the level to mostly resolve restless legs.

Although as I also had other deficiencies so it's difficult to be certain but I do believe the restless legs I had suffered from for years were caused by my severe b12 deficiency.

I was diagnosed with PA in February 2019 and no longer have this syndrome. My husband also sleeps better without me kicking out in my sleep 🙂

Hi, I have PA for at least the last 20 years.

For the past 5 years or more I still suffered with restless legs although I was having b12 injections.

Last Christmas I found out that my ferritin was very low. I had iron supplements, my ferritin level increased and at last my restless legs stopped.

So , in my case, it was not due to b12 but to low ferritin

Hope this helps

Despite an iron infusion, injections and tablets because of continuing iron anaemia I still suffered from restless legs until after having enough b12 injections so it wasn't that for me. I have also been taking vit D tablets as I was found to be deficient at the same time my b12 deficiency and PA were diagnosed, I don't know if these made any difference or if it was just the b12.

I've had fairly mild RLS for years. It actually got much worse during my B12 loading doses last year, now about what it had been as I inject every 3 weeks. I find eating magnesium rich foods (peanut butter or quinoa) before bed seems to help.

Agree with the posts mentioning magnesium..only my own experience. I had terrible RLS including massive muscle cramps at night before I started SI. I use magnesium chloride flakes for bathing, but make it up as a concentrated solution and apply it transdermally on my legs. It always works! A good brand is Better You Zechstein Inside Magnesium Flakes.
