Where do you get b12 hydroxycobalamin patches please?

I read that some of you are using hydroxycobalamin b12 patches where do you get? I can’t find any except cyno or methyl and with my gene mutations and poor detox capability I can’t take either. I have been looking all over. Lately I can’t even take my b12 shots I get a weird swallowing issue but I have a foot of my intestine cut out where I have chrons disease so I can’t absorb b12 at all. I need patch brand and where to purchase. I am in USA Phoenix az. Thx a bunch !

There are no 'gene mutations' that make cyanocobalamin or methylcobalamin patches less useful than hydroxocobalamin patches.

Indeed, they are all equally useless as B12 cannot get across the skin unless the patch can apply an electrical current through the skin, or the patch has an array of microfine needles filled with B12.

The patches that you can buy are just ordinary sticking plaster with B12 smeared on them.

I don't think there are any hydroxo patches. Have you tried sublinguals or even nasal sprays?

The only contra-indication that I am aware of for cyanocobalamin in lebers.

You may find it difficult to get any hydroxo products in the US so you may need to look at supplements from outside the US eg europe.

The patches I use are Methylcobalamin (5000mcg), I got them through Amazon, however they are not as good as the injections, but as I have hit a brick wall with my GP, they are better than taking tablets and sprays. I leave the patch on twice as long as what is said on directions and I use two per week, but as l said not as effective as the injections, which I am trying to source so I can self inject!
