B12 deficiency and treatment for 15 months and chronic headache

I am 15 months in for treatment of b12 deficiency. I currently take 1 injection every 3 weeks. In the beginning after the loading doses I was on 1 injection a week for 3 months and then every 2 weeks for 6-8 months. I am now having a mild headache in the middle of my forehead for 3 weeks and was wondering if anybody had this symptom. What did you do for treatment.

Try going back to one a week and see if the headaches go.

I've had headaches throughout and at the beginning migraines.

Upping my vitamin D helped .

Perhaps you cant go 3 weeks between b12 injections . I tried a few times but cant. I was on 2 weekly for a year

Hi,

Did you have your vitamin D levels checked as well?

I had continual headaches when I had a severe vitamin D deficiency a few years back. They were daily and started in the morning, migraine type of thing, not very pleasant.

I had a prescription for vitamin D as my levels were very low almost non existant.

I had daily frontal headaches initially and still get them when I overdo it. I think more b12 is helpful also more rest. Some supplements have been shown to help with headaches Such as magnesium, riboflavin, Coq10. webmd.com/migraines-headach...
