I have had chronic fatigue syndrome for over three decades and have recently started B12 injections and it is LIFE ALTERING! Unfortunately, my doctor does not want to prescribe☹️

I appreciate this forum so much!

The first site's URL is wrong. The correct site insists on blocking me.

The second site provides powdered B12 which you have to make up yourself. This is quite dangerous as contamination is a near certainty, and I, for one, do not relish the idea of injecting a cocktail of bacteria and fungal spores.

The third site is run by an idiot who believes -

In contrast to what most people think, animals do not create vitamin B12. We get it mainly thanks to bacteria that feeds on cobalt in the grass.

So I wouldn't trust them to do anything.

They also source from Oxford Biosciences. So you'd be better off cutting out the middleman.

I thought that cyanocobalamin wasn't too hard to get in the USA.

I am a retired nurse and quite accustomed to reconstituting meds. It’s actually very easy and safe. I have gotten cyanocobalamin from Canada, but would much prefer not to be injecting the small amount of cyanide it contains. I understand that hydroxocobalamin can be gotten from the German Pharmacy and via the German Amazon, but so far have been refused shipping. I have placed the larger (100 vials) in my cart and tried three different addresses in the US , but I keep getting the same “cannot ship to that address”.

I’m wondering if the policies of the businesses have changed or if I’m doing something wrong in check out.

Thank you so much for trying to help me.

Do you know how small the amounts of cyanide are?

About the same as in 7 apple pips!

KEFNB...please can I clarify...

The methylcobalamin sold by the sites mentioned here are sold as 'cosmetic grade' methylcobalamin powder for reconstitution. It is NOT subject to the stringent controls applied to medical grade injectable material. Furthermore, it is sold for multi dose use. Users are advised to simply store the reconstituted product in a fridge, covered with aluminium foil. So...a non-sterile product stored unsealed in the fridge - for multi-dose via injection.

This is very different from the medical grade reconstituted medications used in hospitals (of which you speak) which are both sterile and of injectable grade quality (single dose use - or provided in sealed sterile multi-dose bottles -and even these have to be disposed of within 28 days of opening).

We do not recommend this form of multi-dose powdered methylcobalamin for self-injection - there is high risk of contamination by bacterial agents. In addition, sterile normal saline for re-constitution is only available on prescription in the U.K. and there have been instances here of some using sterile eye drops, which are not of injectable grade quality, to reconstitute the methylcobalamin powder.

The safest form of B12 to inject is that which comes from single dose sterile ampoules that are of injectable quality (acquired from an accredited and monitored medical grade manufacturer / supplier).

We advise members not to use this form of multi-dose powdered methylcobalamin for injection.

I have bought B12 from a German pharmacy online. I had to buy 100 ampoules however but they were not mega expensive. PM me if you would like the details :-)

I would like whatever info you can provide. I’m not getting anywhere.

Did you, variously, join or register? That seems to allow transactions to proceed when they otherwise won’t.

But there may still be a barrier to transactions that involve prescription drugs (in the country of arrival) crossing the pond.
