I had a eye test at optician Thursday got appointment for Wednesday at hospital. Now I have appointment for this Wednesday, seems I have fluid behind right eye. Could this be because b12 injections sopped in March. Have complained to MP and doctors, but they are still refusing my injections. I was told on the phone a few days before my appointment on the 5th May that could not get injections, for a year, so happy I joined this group. As more or less told it was all in my mind. Fed up complaining as it’s like speaking to a brick wall. Any advice please.

I have emailed them, even wrote to the first minister Scotland, told to chat to doctor, who still refused. Think it is up to doctor. Probably have made myself unpopular, and they are sticking there heels in. Have not a clue on what to do. I am in agony with my back, knees elbows, forgetful, headaches etc. Thank you for listening. Thinking of going private, I am just a ordinary pensioner, so does anyone know what it might cost, would be worth it every 8 weeks.
I was getting them every 8weeks, last one was around 4th March
Have you considered self Injecting.
I do subcutaneous ones. I havent had my treatment stopped but got worried incase it would and also wanted to try a higher frequency.
Have you been seen by the hospital yet? If not ask them. They will write to your Gp .
Can you change doctor?
I saw a neurologist privately. It cost £120 for headaches.
You shouldn't need to go privately only if you choose to.
Private Gp around £70
Prices vary. .
Meanwhile have you tried high dose b12 tablets 1000mcg
Some they do nothing for. Others gain a bit .
Hi,
Have you discussed your B12 deficiency with the optometrist/opthalmologist?
They should be able to look for signs of B12 deficiency in the eyes.

Have you put your complaint/concerns in writing to the doctors and talked to Citizens Advice service?

You could try vitamin B12 patches. They are very strong, as the vitamin goes straight into your blood no need to digest it
