Update - spoke to GP today by telephone to discuss my ongoing neurological symptoms following 5th B12 injection. I was fully prepared, expecting to have to fight my corner. No need. The GP was fully aware of NICE guidelines ' For people with neurological involvement.' Set to have further injections on alternate days for next 2 weeks , then a further review with GP. Phew! Was so relieved. To be fair they have always been an excellent practice throughout the years.

She is also planning to speak to a neurologist for further advice regarding my neurological symptoms.

Over recent days I have experienced short periods where I felt 'normal' again. It has been quite awhile.

That's great! I had a phone apt with my GP the other day and asked about loading doses due to neuro symptoms but was told no and also told no to injections earlier than 10 weeks, being told the body stores some of it and I'd be overdosing. He agreed with everything else I said so seemed clued up until then. Great your gp is so much better .

You can’t overdose on b12, your body excretes it through Your urine, if they say it’s addictive that’s another thing they say and that’s not true either
