Always take a daily 400 mcg tablet of folic acid .

It acts together with B12 .

None.

If you have PA (and you're likely to if your deficiency is non-dietary) then you will probably have difficulty absorbing folate from food, as well as iron and vitamin D.

You should take no more than 400 mcg of folic acid a day, along with a low-dose Vitamin D supplement (as recommended by the NHS). Don't take iron without discussing it with your GP.

Sadly I've been told it's all placebo...so I don't think I will ever get a diagnosis now. It's very difficult to live with. But thanks for the infos. X
