Have you had your iron levels and folate checked?

Hopefully when your iron levels are up it will help. It took me months to get ferritin levels up. It did stop the shaking and breathlessness

If I remember rightly you were having a baby??? That will exasperate any symptoms. Hormone changes tiredness ect.

Hiya, im sorry to hear what you are going through, and although i cant offer a solution i can tell you i have the exact same symptoms , and as hard as it is i cannot fight off this, or shake the feeling of it. Its absolutely terrible some days, and it doesnt help when my partner (well i think ex now) argued. She didnt understand PA and my symptoms or me, or wouldnt listen and it caused lots of petty rows, but as soon as wed row it would hit me with a vengeance. Now while trying to type this my hands and whole body is trembling and i feel like a full blown panic attack is going to come on. Yes bought on by the fact that my partner (ex) and i fell out on Saturday and she called it a day. Since then ive been worse than ever. Sorry for having to explain my private life, but im just trying to say when ive had upset it makes mine even worse than it already is. I do hope you find an answer, if you do please let me know . Best of luck and i hope you feel a bit better soon

I understand what you are saying - any sniff of an argument or falling out is very bad for me and makes things much worse. I need everything to be calm and peaceful! Better since twice daily injecting....the general nervous anxious feeling anyway. Good luck.

Thank you kittyflowers. Good to hear the general nervous anxious feeling is better since your twice daily injecting. Im still trying to get my dr to give me my injections every 8 weeks :( . Im very much like you where arguments are concerned, ive only got to feel the atmosphere change without a word being said and it brings mine on. I just want life a calm and peaceful life, what i find hard to believe is how she doesnt understand men have feelings, and can be emotional, just cause im 6ft, broad, bald , tattoos, does not mean i dont have feelings. Good luck to you

Sorry to hear that you are still suffering from anxiety and tremors - it’s horrible isn’t it. I have only recently started B12 injections and didn’t realise that the anxiety and tremors can be a result of B12 deficiency / PA. I have been misdiagnosed for years. Would daily injections help ? I am not medically trained but just wondering if anyone has benefitted from daily ?

Yes I am doing better on twice daily for now and have had very bad anxiety and nervousness and tremors. Its worth trying - what have you got to lose if you are self injecting anyway....

I think I have had PA or b12 deficiency since 1990 or earlier so have some catching up to do.

Good luck.

Sorry u are going through this, I been having tremors and short of breath for 2 years...also I have a low body temperature and low blood pressure. I've been trying to figure this out fora while...nothing has being working for me.. I even did tests for MS and Parkinson's and I'm glad it came negative. I'm looking into b1 ,b6..vit d1 ,iron...also u can check if u have mthfr variants , as well as COMT and VDR. I do have all and it very hard for me to methylate b12. Good luck ..if u find any answer e please share it..I would love to find answers for me too.

What comes to mind is to check pituitary thyroid adrenal axis. PEople who have PA often have Hashimotos. Adrenal fatigue (which can be related to Hashimotos and PA gives symptoms of wiry nervousness low blood pressure tremors. The cold body temp, also could be either/or. Worth a check.

Sorry to hear this. Anxiety and tremors are my worst symptoms too. I have recently gone to twice daily injections (!) and think I am making a little headway. Maybe consider more frequent jabs?

I wonder what your tremors are like? Mine start from my low back, sacrum area. Spread all around saddle area (!) and down legs to feet plus up my back to neck and face when particularly bad. At first I went to daily injections and thats when I really noticed an improvement in my anxiety. I was feeling so nervous all the time - its a difficult feeling to describe but somehow nervous is more like it than anxiety actually. In for a penny in for a pound and so now trying twice daily - have been doing this for a week now and daily before that for a month. As I sit here writing this the tingling and burning is still there but the thumping tremor is much reduced.

If you have been doing every other day for 2 years its either that its not b12 or its just not enough? Or of course that you may do better on methyl rather than hydroxy or the other way around?

I do wish you better times ahead.

best wishes

Iron, Folate and Vitamin D need testing. That is what gives you those symptoms.....but also a totally healthy person with no deficiencies can suffer from Anxiety and Depression which should be treated my a medical professional.

If your bloods are ok for the above you may need anti Anxiety medication.

Anxiety can be a condition on its own without any deficiencies which can give you those symptoms.

Wishing you well.
