Bit of history and mystery

I know we tend to see it everywhere, but reading this, it really does seem like Sir Winston Churchill's dear dad may have been in need of B12. This made me feel very sad. I just thought I'd share here as no one else in my life would appreciate it the way people here might. I was looking up something specific to Sir Churchill when I found myself reading this bit about his dad. To think about all his family being treated as "dirty" and diseased due to a syphilis rumor. Perhaps a bit of vitamin would have prevented it all. I feel very fortunate .

Hi Staesideheather, just read the article re Churchills dad. So sad really and I totally agree with you, and if this had been in 2020....I am sure Pernicious Anaemia would have been the main medical route to explore. Thanks for sharing. X

There is a theory that Mary Todd Lincoln might've had pernicious Anemia.

Perhaps Randolph Churchill's malaise could in part explain Winston's own "black dog" ?
