Hi, ha anyone experienced actually buying b12 over the counter in a german pharmacy? I am there on holiday in June and wondered if I should take the opportunity to bring some home?

Buying b12 in Germany in person
There shouldn't be any problem buying it.
Bringing it back should be OK. Make sure the shop receipt is in the box of ampoules so that customs, if they check you, can see that it's bought from a reputable pharmacy. I know that the Rotexmedica ampoules I get have each box labelled with 'VITAMIN B12' so just tell any customs officer that it is just a vitamin and I doubt they'd investigate any further.
Yes , I have bought B12 ampoules at a pharmacy in Germany . They didn’t have the make I use in stock , but they got them in for me in a few hours .
( Ordered them in the morning , and got them in the afternoon ) They were actually a bit more expensive than the online pharmacy , but you save the courier charge .
I have bought B12 over the counter in France with no problem. Your best going at the beginning of your trip in case they have to order it in, as they did in France. It only took a couple of days but it’s still worth going early rather than later.
