Just when I think I’m starting to do better a new weird symptom starts. I recently stated a once a week regimen of b12 and have been having a weird burning sensation in my back ... on and off . It it’s subtle.

Has anyone had a similar experience or have any insight

Mostly up near my shoulders but moves... feels like the skin

Yes. I get it behind my right shoulder blade. Feels burny/tingly, slightly like a mild electric shock. It's similar to the parasthesia in my arms and legs so i assume it's b12 related.

Yes!! Thank you. It started when I increased to once a week. Maybe improvement pain as it is new

Yes I’ve had this symptom for some time. Feel like I want to scratch. Also it can feel like it’s burning sometimes and it’s quite painful.

Also can you tell me how you managed to get a western blot test? Was your ELISA text positive?

I went to a naturopathic doctor who ordered it without the ELISA. I’m in the US. I had three reactive bands IGG. I guess you need 5, so I do not have Lyme. I had zero reactive bands IGM

Thanks for letting me know and good to know you don't have Lyme. Take care.

How is your back pain/burning? I have had this symptom for some time. It is better some days but always there to a certain degree.

Did you get your back irritation/burning figured out. I suffer from very similar symptoms, burning, itching, tingling... Seems to move to different locations, very strange...

Yes mine moves too which is really odd. I had MRI and CT and no issues. My gastro thinks it might be referred nerve pain due to dysmotility (IBS type symptoms) that you get with IBS. I SI every 2 days now and have one for about 2 months and it has lessened. Also take high strength probiotics. It has not gone but it is less bad!
